Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier

Hefeweizen, abv 5.4%

Appearance: A golden slightly hazy color. Very large creamy head. Decent retention. The head seems to be tight and creamy on top by when viewed from the side it has large bubbles. 

Smell: Fruity. Banana bread, apricots. Amazing bready yeasty smell. Light spices. 

Taste: Wheaty, bready. That banana bread smell is still in the taste. The spices are a little more present in the end. A little more fruity than the smell in the middle. 

Mouthfeel: HIgher on the carbonation. Very smooth though. Light body. 

Overall: What more can be said about this beer that hasnt been said? It's the standard of wheat beers. Its light fruity but layered enough to drink. The yeasty, bready, spicy, fruity smell and flavor are outstandingly well balanced. Just over a top notch beer. Beyond great.
