Pale Ale, abv 4.5%
Appearance: Half a finger head with little retentions. Settles to an off white small layer on top of the beer. Very hazy orange body. Lots of sentiment at the bottom.
Smell: Orange citrus. Sweet honey. Its hard to describe this, but when agitated the citrus and honey mix combines to a salty almost sweet oceany smell.
Taste: Very astringent finish. It is a weird hop flavor at the end. Honey smell is almost gone. Citrus there in the front. The beginning and middle are nice and crisp then the finish is something odder. There is a small gap then it hits your with his high note of hops that ends very astringent.
Mouthfeel: Light body, light carbonation.
Overall: This was a confusing beer. As I kept drinking the beer it kept changing. I dont know if palate was adjusting to it but the astringency kept diminishing but at the same time there was loss in the other flavors. The smell was very confusing but it was not that good. Overall not a great beer and I probably would have a hard time recomending this beer to people.
